Beijing-Kowloon Railway is one of the main railways linking North China and South China, which connects Beijing to Shenzhen as well as the Kowloon-Canton Railway in Hong Kong. Started in 1993 and completed in 1996, it is approximately 2,397 kilometers in length. CREC independently built approximately 60% of the railway and won the Luban Award for Construction Engineering and the National Gold Medal for Quality Engineering.
