Recently, the new Bazhong-Nanchong section of the Hanzhong-Bazhong-Nanchong High-speed Railway, which was built by China Railway No.2 Group, China TIESIJU Civil Engineering Group, China Railway Electrification Engineering Group and China Railway Hi-Tech Industry, was officially opened and operated, ended the history that there was no high-speed railway between Bazhong and Nanchong.

Located in the northeast of Sichuan Province, the Hanzhong-Bazhong-Nanchong High-speed Railway passes through the core areas of Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Areas such as Bazhong and Yilong. The design speed of the main line is 250 kilometers per hour, the total length of the line is about 148 kilometers, and there are six stations. After completion and opening to traffic, the fastest travel time between Bazhong and Chengdu and Chongqing is 2 hours 16 minutes and 2 hours 46 minutes, which is of great significance to improve the inter-city railway network in Chengdu-Chongqing area, speed up the development of tourism resources along the line, and speed up the development of the regions in eastern Sichuan.
