China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Kicks Off Construction of Tegal Luar Traction Substation of Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway

Recently, the facility construction of Tegal Luar traction substation of Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway undertaken by the Third Company of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group officially started.
Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is a landmark project of the Belt and Road Initiative and the pragmatic cooperation between China and Indonesia, as well as China’s first overseas high-speed rail project. The entire line adopts the Chinese high-speed railway system with full system and all elements, with a total length of 142.3 kilometers for main line and a designed maximum speed of 350 km/h.
The Third Company of China Railway Electrification Engineering Group undertook the material procurement and construction of electric power and electric traction power supply projects for the entire line as well as the construction of the external power supply as defined temporarily in the provisional sum.
